Open Question: Is Bessie Coleman the first Black woman became an Aviator?

About her past : After leaving high school , Bessie enrolled at Langston Industrial College , a school for African Americans . She hoped to train as a teacher but had to leave after a year because she ran out of money. She moved to Chicago. Then later on she works for a while at the White Sox Barber Shop , Bessie became manager of a chili restaurant. After WW2 , then she became the first black woman to become a licensed airplane pilot. I was giving you a short true story , sorry. I am asking , have you ever heard of her before ? I haven't , I was surprised that she is the first black woman become an aviator. I am just asking.
